I’m Keto. I’m Paleo. I’m Vegan.
We spend a lot of time identifying who we are based on what we eat. What you eat doesn’t define who you are. What’s more is what you eat may vary dramatically over the course of your lifetime.
Can you guess what my two favorite lunches were in high school?
The first favorite was a bagel with butter and a chocolate milk. To be honest, I still love a good bagel, but only get them when I visit New York, which is once a year on average. I don’t drink milk anymore and I avoid dairy altogether if I can.
My second favorite meal was Ring Dings (chocolate cake with cream filling, covered in chocolate) and a chocolate milk. Yes, I was a teen-aged choc-aholic. I wouldn’t dream of eating a Ring Ding today…have you ever read the ingredients on a Drake’s cake?
Over the years my diet has been mostly vegetarian, but there were a few years in which I experimented with Keto and other low-carb/high-protein diets.
The way I see it, there’s a spectrum of eating habits and we are all somewhere on that specturm. Where we are can vary over the years and for some of us, it can vary day to day. Where do you fall on the spectrum of eating? Watch the video to find out.
